Privacy Policy

When you sign up for DigiLabs, or interact with one of the websites, WhatsApp numbers, or AI assistants we operate on behalf of our clients, we may collect:

• Your name and WhatsApp number.
• Your business name and business information (industry, location, size).
• Website content you provide: products, prices, images, descriptions, and branding assets.
• Customer data processed through systems we build for you: customer names, phone numbers, order history, conversation transcripts, and CRM tags.
• Usage data: pages visited, clicks, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Communication records: messages between you and DigiLabs support, and messages between your business and your customers when handled by our automations.

All customer data is stored on secure cloud servers. Data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption and encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Access to production data is restricted to authorized DigiLabs engineers and is logged. We apply the principle of least privilege: employees can only access the minimum data required to perform their role.

You own your data. You can export or delete it at any time from your dashboard, or by contacting us at hello@digi-labs.site.

We process your information for the following purposes:

• IP-based location detection: When you visit our website, we automatically collect your IP address and use it to determine your approximate geographic location (country and region). This information is used to personalize your experience — including selecting the appropriate language, currency, pricing, and regional content. We do not perform exact location tracking, and your IP address is not stored permanently or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
• Build your website: store your products, branding, and business info to render your live storefront.
• Run WhatsApp automation: send order confirmations, delivery updates, follow-ups, and broadcast messages on your behalf.
• Operate your CRM: organize customer profiles, order history, leads, and conversation history.
• Provide support: respond to your requests and troubleshoot issues with your systems.
• Improve our services: aggregate, de-identified analytics to fix bugs and prioritize product improvements.

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the providers needed to operate our services:

• WhatsApp Business API (Meta):used to send and receive WhatsApp messages between your business and your customers. WhatsApp automation is powered by the official WhatsApp Business API and is subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy.
• Cloud hosting providers: used to host your website, dashboard, and database. Providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Payment processor: used to collect your monthly subscription. We never store your full card details on our servers.
• AI providers: used to power conversational AI features. Only the minimum message context required to generate a reply is shared, and providers are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their models.

Under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and its executive regulations, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Export: receive a portable copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for processing that relies on it, at any time.

All customer data is stored on secure cloud servers. You own your data. You can export or delete it at any time. While we may use global cloud infrastructure, we apply contractual safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data is protected to the same standard as if it remained in Egypt.

DigiLabs is an independent provider of automation services and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or WhatsApp. By using our services you agree to comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta Business Tools Terms.

We retain your data for as long as your DigiLabs account is active. After account closure, we retain data for 90 days to allow for export, then permanently delete it from production systems. Backups are purged within 30 days of deletion. Tax-relevant invoices and payment records are retained for the period required by Egyptian tax law.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, least-privilege access controls, regular security reviews, and 24/7 monitoring. In the event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay, in accordance with Egyptian law.

Our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
